The family has been contacted by bandits who abducted Alhaji Mansoor Al-Kadriyar and his six children, requesting a ransom of N60 million.
The victims were kidnapped on Tuesday night, January 2, 2024, in the Federal Capital Territory’s Bwari Area Council, according to LIB.
The Daily Trust claims that the father was then set free by the robbers to seek the ransom needed to ensure his children’s release.
The criminals shot his brother Alhaji Abdulfatai dead after he led policemen to thwart their kidnapping.
Two of the three police officers who were shot during the firefight are said to have passed away, according to Daily Trust.
In light of this new situation, the victims’ family, from Kwara State’s Okekere locality in Ilọrin, requested cash on Sunday to aid in their rescue.
Sherifdeen, a victim’s relative, characterized the time as extremely “tough for the family.”
After much pleading, they got in touch with the family and demanded a ransom of N60m. The children were taken captive, while the father was let go. The deadline for finding the money is Friday, January 12, 2024, according to Sherifdeen.
For each child, that works up to N10 million. We respectfully want financial aid to support the fight to secure their freedom. Our bank information is available on my Facebook page.
